Editorial policy
The guides, calculators and FAQs on this site are written by the PepVault team at Dual Teams. They cover record keeping and unit arithmetic only. Every outside fact links to a primary source, every calculator shows its formula, and every page shows the date it was last updated.
What do the guides cover, and what do they never cover?
They cover how to keep a useful record: what to log, how units and concentrations work, how to read a syringe scale, how to track vials and dates, and what to bring to an appointment.
They never recommend a peptide, a dose, a schedule or a protocol, and they never say what a peptide does or claim it works. They do not give half-lives or other pharmacokinetic figures for products that have no FDA-approved label. Questions like these belong with a prescriber or a pharmacist, and the guides say so where they come up.
Which sources do the guides use?
Primary sources only, preferably from public health bodies:
- US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) safety communications
- US prescribing information and product labels, read on DailyMed from the US National Library of Medicine
- MedlinePlus patient instructions from the US National Library of Medicine
- Peer-reviewed papers and reference texts indexed in PubMed
Each guide that relies on an outside fact ends with a Sources list. Before a source is added, we open it, check that the link works and check that it says what the page says it does. Statements that cannot be tied to a source of this kind are left out.
How are the calculators checked?
Each calculator page shows the formula it uses and a worked example. The example numbers are checked by hand against the formula, and the calculator's answer for its starting inputs is printed in the page itself, so it can be compared without running any code. The calculators only convert numbers you enter; they do not suggest what those numbers should be.
Have the guides been medically reviewed?
Not yet. The guides have not been reviewed by a named medical professional. They are written by the PepVault team from the sources listed on each page, and they stay within record keeping and arithmetic for that reason. If a qualified reviewer checks a guide in future, that guide will show the reviewer's name, credentials and the date of the review.
How are pages kept up to date?
Every guide, calculator and feature page shows an "Updated" date, which is also given to search engines. The date changes only when the content is actually revised: a corrected fact, a changed source, a new section or a change in the app. The comparison of tracker apps shows the date its store figures were checked.
How do I report a mistake?
Email dwear932@gmail.com with the page address and what you think is wrong, with a source if you have one. If the correction is confirmed, the page is fixed and its Updated date changes. We cannot answer personal medical questions.
Who is responsible for this site?
PepVault is published by Dual Teams. The site carries no advertising, and PepVault does not sell peptides or any other product. More about the app and the publisher is on the About page, and the medical disclaimer sets out what the site is not.
