The best peptide tracker app is one you will actually use every time. Look for **fast dose entry, vial inventory with expiry dates, injection site tracking, reminders, progress charts and a way to export your data**, and be wary of any app that tells you what to take. The ten checks below take about five minutes with any app.

## The checklist

### 1. Can you log a dose in under 15 seconds?

Open the app and time yourself. If logging takes a minute, you will stop doing it. Look for a prefilled date and time and quick picks for the names you use most.

### 2. Does it handle mcg and mg clearly?

The unit should be visible on every entry, and switching between mcg and mg should be one tap. Ambiguous units are how errors happen.

### 3. Does it track vials, not only doses?

A dose log without a vial record leaves out half the picture. You want strength, lot number, sealed or reconstituted status and how much is left.

### 4. Does it store expiry dates and storage conditions?

These belong on the vial record, where you will see them.

### 5. Does it record injection sites?

A body map is quicker and clearer than a text field, and it makes rotation visible.

### 6. Does it remind you?

Schedules with notifications are the main thing an app can do that paper cannot.

### 7. Can it track outcomes?

Weight, measurements and how you feel, charted over time, put the dose log in context.

### 8. Can you get your data out?

Check for an export before you put months of history into anything. CSV is the most portable format.

### 9. Is it clear about what it is?

A tracker is a record-keeping tool. An app that recommends doses or protocols, or sells products, is doing a different job. Read the description and the disclaimer.

### 10. Is it maintained?

Check the "updated on" date on the store listing and read the privacy policy linked there.

## Common questions

### Should a tracker app calculate doses for me?

Doing unit arithmetic on numbers you provide, such as converting a volume to syringe units, is a calculator's job, and there is a [free one on this site](https://peptidetracks.com/tools/peptide-reconstitution-calculator). Deciding what the dose should be is a medical decision for your prescriber.

### Do I need a tracker for a once-weekly injection?

Weekly doses are easy to mistime and it is easy to forget which side you used last. A reminder and a site record solve both.
